Terms of Service

By accessing or using Stay Focused ACT (“the service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service is intended for students aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Stay Focused ACT is a free study tool for the ACT Science section, including practice questions, mock tests, vocabulary, and progress tracking. The service is provided free of charge. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to ACT, Inc. “ACT” is a trademark of its respective owner and is used here only to describe the exam our materials help you prepare for.

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login credentials secure and not share your account.
• Be responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Copy, scrape, resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content without permission.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, hack, or gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems.
• Upload malicious code, or harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Misrepresent your identity or attempt to manipulate leaderboards or other features.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

The original designs, text, explanations, and software that we create ourselves are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for your own ACT study. You may not redistribute, publish, or sell our content.

Some study materials, including certain mock tests and practice sets, are curated or compiled from publicly available and third-party sources rather than written by us. We do not claim ownership of those third-party materials, and they remain the property of their respective owners. We make these resources available free of charge for personal, educational study only, and we do not sell them or profit from them.

We respect the rights of content owners. If you believe that any material on the service, including a mock test or practice set, infringes your copyright or other rights, please email us at support@stayfocusedact.com with proof of ownership and enough detail to identify the material. When we receive a valid request, we will review it promptly and remove the material in question. We would rather take something down than keep anything up against an owner’s wishes.

If you submit bug reports, feedback, or other content, you grant us permission to use it to operate and improve the service. Please do not submit anything you do not have the right to share.

The service is free. If you choose to support it through a third-party donation platform (such as Ko-fi), donations are voluntary, processed by that platform, and generally non-refundable. Donating does not buy any feature, advantage, or guarantee: all features remain free for everyone.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the materials are complete or accurate. We do not guarantee any particular ACT score or result: your performance depends on many factors outside our control.

Some materials are curated or compiled from third-party sources and are provided for free, personal study only. We make no warranty as to the ownership, accuracy, or quality of third-party materials, and we are not responsible for them. If you are a rights holder, please see Copyright and removal requests.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stay Focused ACT and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Because the service is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, which is zero.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

We may update, add, or remove features at any time, and we may revise these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located there, to the extent permitted by law.
